Why Choose Northwest Medical Massage?

How Medical Massage Helps Chronic Pain

What We Treat

1

Upper & Lower Back Pain

Back pain can have many possible causes some of which can be treated with manual therapy. Your therapist will assess you to determine if manual therapy might  aid in your recovery. We work with other members of your health team to find the best solution.

2

Sciatica

Many forms of low back, hip and leg pain can be related to issues with the sciatic nerve as it travels from the spine through the hip and into the leg. Your therapist will work to find the area that might be contributing to your pain.

3

Chronic & Recent Pain Conditions

We can help with many sources of both chronic and recent onset pain from muscle strain, post surgery recovery, Fibromyalgia, sports injury recovery, hip pain, upper and lower leg pain, ankle and foot pain, knee pain, neck pain and shoulder pain.

Typical Treatment Plan

Most clients see improvement in 3 -6 sessions. We'll adjust your plan based on progress and response to treatment.

Regular sessions help maintain relief and prevent future issues. Your therapist will recommend an optimal schedule for your condition.

You're in control. If something doesn't feel right, we stop immediately. Your comfort and well-being are always our top priority.

You Deserve Relief

Don't let chronic pain control your life another day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is medical massage covered by insurance?

We can provide a Superbill or you may use an HSA card for your sessions with Northwest Medical Massage.

How is medical massage different from spa massage?

Medical massage is therapeutic and clinical, focused on treating specific conditions and pain. It's performed by licensed therapists with advanced medical training, not for relaxation purposes.

How many sessions will I need?

This varies by condition and severity. Most patients see significant improvement within 3-6 sessions, but we'll customize your treatment plan based on your specific needs and progress.

Do I need a doctor's referral?

We are a cash-based practice. No referral is needed to see one of our therapists.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. You'll undress to your comfort level for treatment. We provide draping for privacy and warmth.
